MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred recently revealed that he spoke with President Donald Trump about a variety of topics a couple of weeks back, including Trump’s desire to have Pete Rose posthumously removed from Major League Baseball’s permanently ineligible list.

Rob Manfred took a trip to the White House to speak with president Donald Trump earlier this month, discussing Cincinnati Reds legend Pete Rose and his lifetime ban during their meeting.

Pete Rose was banned from baseball after an investigation revealed that he bet on Cincinnati Reds games while he was a player and manager for the team.
