The Pittsburgh Steelers did just that Saturday when they posted a video with the caption "Pittsburgh is officially on the clock" since the city will host the 2026 NFL draft. The video also included the dates, as the draft will happen from April 23-25 next year:

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers wanted to get ‘big and physical’ in the 2025 NFL Draft, and they did just that. With seven selections, Pittsburgh ended up with three players on their defensive line, while trying to strengthen their special teams core in the later rounds.

A quarterback was among the picks the Steelers made during the final day of the NFL draft on Saturday. The team selected Ohio State quarterback Will Howard in the sixth round, who won the College Football Playoff National Championship in January.
