While Shedeur Sanders and Jaxson Dart both had memorable NFL debuts, the first preseason action for fellow rookie quarterback Quinn Ewers was anything but as he struggled mightily for the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

Quinn Ewers was one of the highest-rated high school quarterbacks in the country and helped turn around a struggling college football powerhouse during his days with the Texas Longhorns, but neither of those things kept him from sliding to the seventh round during the 2025 NFL draft.

Quinn Ewers got his first taste of NFL action in the Dolphins' 24-24 preseason tie with the Bears on Sunday, and he certainly looked like a rookie.
