A Mega Millions player has claimed the largest lottery prize in Virginia history after hitting a $348 million jackpot — and now they plan to buy a lawn mower.

Lottery officials on Friday raised the Mega Millions grand prize to $790 million, giving players a shot at what would be the nation's fourth largest jackpot. The next drawing is on Tuesday.

The Mega Millions drawing was held Friday, June 27, and the $348 million jackpot was won by a single ticket purchased. The ticket was bought at E & C Mid Atlantic in Burgess. The ticket matched all six winning numbers: 18-21-29-42-50 and the Mega Ball number 2, said lottery officials.
