Katherine Kiefer, 82, is reunited with her cat Aggie on March 8 at VCA Chatoak Animal Hospital. The cat was missing after the Palisades Fire destroyed Kiefer's home in Los Angeles.

Katherine Kiefer, 82, had continued to grieve the loss of her 5-year-old Maine Coon named Aggie, who disappeared in the flames that destroyed her home on Jan. 7.

But her owner, 82-year-old Katherine Kiefer, held out some hope. Over the weekend, Kiefer got a call from the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter.
