Nandi will rejoin the only NFL squad he’s ever played regular season snaps for. He left Kansas City as an unrestricted free agent this past offseason, signing a one-year deal with the Jets worth a little more than $1.4 million, with $417,500 guaranteed.

The Jets have acquired a 2027 sixth-round pick from the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for DT Derrick Nnadi and a seventh-round pick in 2027. The deal won't be complete until Nnadi passes his physical. Nnadi (6-1, 317), entering his eight NFL season, signed with the Jets on March 18. He had 5 tackles in preseason play.
