Reigning Formula 1 constructors' champions McLaren have set the pace by unveiling their 2025 car ahead of the new season. The vehicle, dubbed MCL39, was put to the test at the Silverstone track on Thursday morning. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri were behind the wheel for the first run, sharing a total of 200km of permitted track time.

McLaren Formula 1 team have revealed a major change ahead of the 2025 season opener. This year's championship will open with the Australian Grand Prix weekend on March 14-16, with the papaya outfit hoping to get a good result straight out of the gate following their 2024 championship success.
