Russia has scaled down the festivities honoring its navy citing security concerns as continuing Ukrainian drone attacks posed a challenge the Kremlin.

Authorities cancelled parades of warships in St. Petersburg, in the Kaliningrad region on the Baltic, and in the far-eastern port of Vladivostok.

On the night of July 27, Russia launched 83 drones at Ukraine. Air defense forces neutralized most of the targets, but there were also hits, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
