Khalil, a Palestinian activist who was involved in Columbia University's protests last year, has been detained by ICE.

ICE arrested Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian graduate student, revoking his visa and green card for involvement in Columbia University's pro-Palestinian protests.

Mahmoud Khalil, who recently completed a graduate program at Columbia, has legal permanent residency, his lawyer said.

ICE agents told Greer that they were executing a Department of State order to revoke Khalil’s visa and green card.
