About two weeks since the U.S. Department of Education withheld over $6 billion in federal funding for schools nationwide – a little over $1 billion has been released for after-school programs.

Life in the High Desert is a new temporary art exhibit at the Henry Hauser Museum in Sierra Vista, 2950 East Tacoma Street.

The community is invited to fill the TPD truck with school supplies from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, at 3601 E Broadway Blvd.
