Speculation has swirled over whether the Chicago Sky, currently 8-25 and firmly out of playoff contention, should shut down star forward Angel Reese for the remainder of the season after she missed the last seven games.

Despite the loss, the return of Reese was a major positive for the Sky. In addition to her 19 points, she also added seven rebounds, four assists and a block. She shot 9-of-13 and logged 26 minutes in her return from injury.

Behind big games from Nneka Ogwumike and Skylar Diggins, the Storm took control in the first half and hung on late for a nail-biting win against the Chicago Sky.
