The current Powerball jackpot is now the biggest lottery prize of the year so far, eclipsing the $526.5 million Powerball prize won by a California resident in March.

No one won Monday night's $605 million Powerball jackpot – leaving the jackpot to grow to an estimated $643 million ahead of Wednesday's drawing. The jackpot is a new high for 2025, after going without a winner since the end of May.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Powerball jackpot is now the largest it’s been this year, reaching $605 million for the drawing on Monday, Aug. 18, 2025. The largest jackpot this year was a $526.5 million prize won March 29 in California. The Saturday, Aug. 16 numbers are 23-40-49-65-69 Powerball 23 Power Play 3x.
