President Trump on Tuesday toured the site of a new immigration detention center in South Florida that state officials are calling "Alligator Alcatraz." Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem are visiting the facility alongside the president.

A coalition of immigration rights organizations and elected officials rallied outside the Broward Transitional Center on Saturday, calling for expanded protections for immigrants and an end to deportation policies that they say dehumanize working families.
