One of Colorado’s newest wildfires, the Derby fire, tripled in size overnight Tuesday and doubled again on Wednesday, consuming more than 1,700 acres.

As fires continue to burn across Colorado, the Colorado Emergency Management Association is voicing concerns about the future of emergency management funding across the Centennial State.
