LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - When social media personality Alex Choi saw the raging wildfire in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Pacific Palisades, he grabbed his camera and dirt bike and went to document the devastation.

Celebrity couple Leighton Meester and Adam Brody, known for their roles in Gossip Girl and The O.C., respectively, lost their Brentwood residence to the fire. The home, which the couple shared with their young child, was a private retreat where they lived away from the spotlight.
