The New York Jets’ search for a new general manager early in the 2025 NFL offseason is well underway. Former general manager Joe Douglas was fired in November. The writing was on the wall for Douglas at that point.

The Dallas Cowboys announced on Saturday that they completed an interview with Robert Saleh for the team's open head coaching job.

Despite being fired by the Jets during the season, Robert Saleh is still attracting interest during this hiring cycle.

For some of those teams, that will involve finding new head coaches and/or General Managers. Three teams fired their head coaches during the season and two more have been dispatched as of 9 a.m. ET on January 6.

With several candidates still coaching during the NFL playoffs, here are the latest odds as to who will become the Jets' next head coach, according to BetOnline. The Cowboys have an opening after parting ways with Mike McCarthy this week.

But Thursday, Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers said he had multiple exit interviews the highest levels of Jets leadership as they grappled with the disastrous season – their franchise-worst 14th straight without a playoff berth – and what comes next.

"As far as my own decision, I told them I'm going to take some time," Rodgers said. "They haven't even made a decision on the GM or a coach yet. Once that happens, then that'll take us to the next step which is a conversation, I'm assuming, with whoever that individual is."
