The NFL offseason is underway, and the New England Patriots continue to make changes to their roster. On Wednesday, it was announced that the Patriots are shedding their roster of a veteran defensive lineman who started all 17 games last year.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Patriots have granted the veteran defensive tackle permission to seek a trade this offseason. “There has been contact with interested teams, and the veteran is likely on the move given the team’s defensive scheme shift,” Rapoport noted on X.
