For a second time in three years, the Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl bound. Forced turnovers during Sunday's 55-23 win over the Washington Commanders are a big reason why. The Eagles parlayed four Commanders takeaways and one turnover on downs into 35 points.
That's because Hurts completed 20 of 28 passes for 246 yards and a touchdown. He hit A.J. Brown on a beautifully thrown deep ball on 4th-and-5 from the Eagles' 45-yard line for 31 yards midway through the second quarter to the Commanders' 14-yard line.
Hurts wasn’t the only quarterback receiving praises. Burkhardt and Brady had a lot to say about Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels ahead of the matchup between division rivals. “He’s not playing like a rookie. He’s actually playing at an MVP-type level,” Brady said.
