Following the events of summer league, NBC Sports' Kurt Hielin stacked up some early power rankings from 1-30 around the NBA, where for the Jazz, things weren't too optimistic–– as Utah found themselves rated dead last as the 30th-ranked team in a tier labeled "Dreaming of Lottery Luck (already)."
On Sunday night the Jazz fielded a summer league squad that did not feature a single drafted rookie. No Ace Bailey, no Walter Clayton Jr., no John Tonje. Not even RJ Luis Jr., the undrafted rookie out of St. John’s, played for the Jazz.
In a game that disappointed Utah Jazz fans with the lack of Ace Bailey playing, there was a nice showing from Cody Williams and Kyle Filipowski in the Jazz’s 103-93 loss to the Golden State Warriors.
