Tornado watch issued for Central Alabama until 3 a.m. Thursday
On Wednesday at 8:45 p.m. a tornado watch was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until Thursday at 3 a.m. for Autauga, Barbour, Bullock, Elmore, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Pike and Russell counties.

This will provide plenty of fuel to trigger storms with the strong winds in the upper levels.
