Universal Destinations & Experiences recently revealed several themed areas that will be featured at Universal Kids Resort, a new family-focused theme park set to open next year in Texas.

Minions, Jurassic World, Shrek and the Netflix series Gabby's Dollhouse will also comprise the IP at the new family theme park coming to Frisco, Texas next year.

Visitors to the Universal Kids Resort under construction in Frisco will be able to stomp around in Shrek’s swamp, go boating with SpongeBob SquarePants, or take a cat nap with Puss in Boots.
