The Kansas City Chiefs are freeing up space in their crowded wide receiver room with a reported trade to the San Francisco 49ers today, August 20.

Vele, a wideout from Utah, joined the Broncos as a seventh-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft at age 26. Despite missing four games, he finished second among all Broncos' wide receivers in receptions with 39, and third with 475 yards.

The 49ers, whose wide receiver room has been decimated by injuries and a suspension to Demarcus Robinson, made a trade Wednesday evening for two-time Super Bowl champion Skyy Moore from the Kansas City Chiefs, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
