Parker Kelly scored twice and Ross Colton posted two assists as the Avalanche beat the Flames 4-2 at Scotiabank Saddledome on Friday. Ryan Lindgren and Valeri Nichushkin each scored for Colorado while Scott Wedgewood stopped 22 of the 24 shots he faced in net for the Avs. With the win, the Avalanche improved to 40-24-3.

Colorado Avalanche forward Parker Kelly described himself as “the puck guy” before Colorado’s matchup against the Calgary Flames. Then, he became a superhero. Kelly went out and won the game for the Avs on Friday, back in the wing after spending most of the season adjusting to center. He scored twice in the Avalanche’s 4-2 victory over the Flames.
