Yoane Wissa continues to be subject to rumours around a move to Newcastle and Brentford have now released training ground footage that may give a hint into his future.

Newcastle are under pressure to sign a new striker this summer. Callum Wilson was released following the expiration of his contract, but Eddie Howe’s side were forced to start the season without a recognised centre forward after Isak began his own protest over his desired move to Liverpool.

Brentford have posted a major update from their training ground as Yoane Wissa is spotted back in training with Keith Andrews ’ first-team. Wissa has been heavily-linked with a move to Newcastle United throughout the summer and reportedly told the Bees’ hierarchy that he would never play for them again if denied a move to St James’ Park.

Signing Wissa or Strand Larsen would provide a boost before the end of the window, but Newcastle are scouring Europe for contingency plans
