The first of multiple storm systems hit our area Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, bringing with it more accumulating snow to parts of our area.

Long Islanders can expect up to 3 inches of snowfall Tuesday evening and more snow to fall later in the week. Newsday meteorologist Rich Von Ohlen said that Long Islanders should expect three parts to the upcoming systems,
