Fourth-seeded Simona Halep of Romania, the highest seed left with the top three seeds ousted, beat Sloane Stephens of the United States 6-4, 6-3 on Monday to make the quarterfinals at the French Open.

Sloane Stephens isn't competing at this year's French Open, but she turned plenty of heads on Tuesday. Stephens, 32, has been out for an extended period of time due to injury.
