The Duke and Duchess, Hugh and Olivia Grosvenor, are expecting their first child after tying the knot in June 2024.

The Duke and Duchess of Westminster are expecting their first child this summer, nine months after their wedding at Chester Cathedral last June. Lord Grosvenor, 34, and his wife, 32, are preparing to welcome their baby in just a few months' time.

Now there is already chatter about whether one of the estranged brothers will be this child’s godfather. After all, Hugh is godfather to Prince William’s 11-year-old son Prince George and to Prince Harry’s 5-year-old son Prince Archie.

The Duke of Westminster is known to have been close to Prince William and Prince Harry. Due to his closeness to the royal brothers, Hugh is the Godfather of both of their eldest sons: Prince George, 11, and Prince Archie, 5. King Charles is Hugh's Godfather, and his mother Natalia is also William's Godmother.

“The Duke and Duchess of Westminster are very pleased to share that the Duchess is expecting a baby in the Summer. The couple are delighted with the news and are very much looking forward to starting a family together,” a spokesperson said today.
