All-Star third baseman Nolan Arenado only had one request if the St. Louis Cardinals traded him this offseason. Arenado told Cardinals president of baseball operations John Mozeliak he’d accept a trade to one of five teams: the Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, San Diego Padres, and Houston Astros.

In Saturday’ spring opener vs. the Marlins, the Cardinals lineup features some of the club’s projected starters like third baseman Nolan Arenado, catcher Willson Contreras, and shortstop Masyn Winn.

The Dodgers had not publicly expressed interest in the 10-time Gold Glove winner at any point in the offseason, but Arenado seemingly connected himself to the reigning World Serie
