Despite Ohio State winning a national title nearly a month ago, a significant tipping point next season is going to be whether Michigan and coach Sherrone Moore can take the next step in rebuilding (or otherwise reloading) a once-storied football program.

Michigan football recruiting goes through many ebbs and flows, and sometimes the ebbs exceed the flows. Look no further than the 2024 recruiting class, which had a more torrid start than other classes only to be weakened by late decommitments and multiple prospects who appeared likely to wear maize and blue end up elsewhere.
