Michael Harris II was a real problem. In both April and May, he posted an okay-ish .315ish xwOBA, but underhit it massively, such that it looked like he could no longer hit at all (.263 wOBA in both months).
The Braves fell behind 6-0 in a game delayed 95 minutes by rain before storming back against David Peterson and Reed Garrett (3-5).
Harris was dropped to the bottom of the order, and the numbers told the story — in 348 plate appearances, he slashed just .210/.235/.317 with 14 extra-base hits (six home runs), 43 RBIs, and a 21% strikeout rate.
