An updated tornado warning was released by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 1:41 p.m. in effect until 2 p.m. for Marion County.

County sheriffs across the state say the Indiana Department of Correction owes them, in some cases, hundreds of thousands of dollars for housing their inmates. The state claims it ran out of money to reimburse those counties.

At 2:45 a.m. on Saturday, the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning in effect until 3:45 a.m. for Marion County.

The Indianapolis/Marion County Office of Emergency Management confirmed that testing of Tuesday morning's tornado warning system across the county was affected by a glitch.
