On March 3, the Lynchburg Police Department announced the arrest of several drug and violent crime offenders during a coordinated law enforcement on February 27. LPD said that on Thursday, a joint operation with the Virginia State Police and the Central Virginia Drug and Gang Task Force resulted in the arrest of seven wanted criminals for various violent offenses.

Police say that a warrant roundup led to several arrests in Lynchburg. On Feb. 27, the Lynchburg Police Department, the Virginia State Police and Central Virginia Drug and Gang Task Force, conducted a warrant round-up targeting wanted criminals in an ongoing effort to address violent crime in the area.

Seven people were arrested in a warrant round-up operation Thursday, February 22, according to Lynchburg Police Department.
