Returning this year are two cornerbacks who are among the nation’s best: Leonard Moore and Christian Gray. Moore received significant playing time last year as a true freshman. And now as a sophomore, many outlets rank him as the best corner in the country.

Sophomore Karson Hobbs, who impressed all spring, could be the top reserve at all three corner spots for Notre Dame football.

T he preseason accolades continue to pile up for Notre Dame star running back Jeremiyah Love and star cornerback Leonard Moore. The Associated Press released their Preseason All-American Team and both the junior running back and sophomore cornerback earned first team selections.

Nobody saw Leonard Moore coming last season as a true freshman at Notre Dame. He then earned freshman All-American honors. Now, everyone knows of him.
