Friday, temperatures are expected to reach the mid 80s with a 40 percent chance of heavy rain. Saturday, the chance of thunderstorms is 50 percent with highs in the upper 80s.
CHICAGO (WLS) -- More severe weather is in the forecast for Friday after a round of storms moved through on Thursday. Pockets of rain and storms continued to linger in the area Friday morning. The storms have caused problems on the CTA Yellow Line, with service suspended for debris on the track.
The opener of a four-game series between the Cleveland Guardians and Chicago White Sox has been postponed because of rain.
