After years of relying on China for iPhone production, Apple is boosting its presence in India. The tech giant hit a milestone ahead of the iPhone 17 launch.
After Mumbai and New Delhi, Apple is set to open its one more store in India, prior to the launch of iPhone 17.
According to media reports, the iPhone 18 series could feature four models, including the iPhone 18 Air, iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a foldable iPhone.
The unveiling comes just in time for the upcoming iPhone 17 series launch, which is expected to take place early September.
Apple Inc’s latest super-premium model, the iPhone 16, was the most exported smartphone from India, accounting for 18 per cent of total export volumes in the first half (H1) of calendar year (CY) 2025, according to Counterpoint Research.
