We would like to take the Self Guided tour. These appear to only be offered in the late afternoon (after 3:30) leaving us just a few hours afterwards. Are we allowed to take the shuttle bus up to the grounds before our tour time so we can see the grounds earlier, and then do our 3:30 self guided tour? It doesn't seem like 2 hours would be enough to see everything when their earliest self guided tour is 3:30. Thanks!

If guests are at the visitor center, they will not be transported to the mountaintop until the weather has cleared (aka no lightning). In the event bad weather is forecast, dress appropriately.
